About Claudia...

I think I was about 10 years old when I was given my first ever eye shadow palette and that was where it all began x

My Mother (who is still THE most glamorous lady I know!!XX ) was also in the beauty industry and worked for both Max Factor and Juvena who are a Swiss brand and have been in business since 1954 and still are to this day! Her Mum was a Hairdresser, so I guess you could say that I was born with a little bit of the industry running through my veins. I have always had a passion and huge interest in make up artistry, hair styling and fashion and I am a self confessed product junkie!!

After leaving school in 1993, I was offered a place to train with Looking Up Hair Studio in Bath. This was after a weeks work experience and being a Saturday girl for quite some time x I absolutely LOVED every minute!  I also attended the City of Bath College where I obtained my NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. I qualified in July 1995 and also received Diploma's from the Wella Studios in London for Colouring, Permanent Waving and Cutting and styling.

To follow on from my love of the industry, I then attended

The London College of Fashion and did a course on Fashion Styling.

​

I have since then always been working part time to fit in around my family and have worked in salons in Marlborough and Tetbury, but felt it time to open Claudia Carr Hair and Make up.

​
